How to write a Resolution
A GOP resolution needs 4 parts:
THE PARTY NOW HAS A RESOLUTION BUILDER ON THE STATE SITE here, BUT YOU WILL NEED TO PRESENT IT AT THE PRECINCT CONVENTION. THE STATE WILL SEND YOU YOUR RESOLUTION BACK TO YOU FOR SUBMISSION.
For the precinct or SD conventions,
it is best if the resolution be typed,
and not handwritten,
and the presenter have several copies of the resolution.

A GOP resolution needs 4 parts:
- A TITLE stating what the resolution is about
- (optional) WHEREAS sentences which give the background and reason for the proposal
- RESOLVED which states what should be done
- and a statement as WHO SUBMITTED IT and the author(s) precinct number. It is also good to have a place to write the date of adoption.
