About Voting in Duncanville

Duncanville has 11 voting precincts, all beginning with 32--. The precincts are combined to create Duncanville's five districts for the city council. The Duncanville City Council consists of seven members, including the mayor elected at large, one council member elected at-large, and five council members elected from single-member districts. A map of the districts can be found here. Generally speaking District 1 is a combination of the precincts on the city's west side ( 3209, 3206, 3200, part of 3201), District 5 is north of I-20 (3210, 3211), District 2 is city central west of Main Street (3207, 3203, part of 3201), District 3 is city central east of Main Street (3208, 3204), District 4 is mostly west of US67 and part of the city's southern border (3205, 3202 and part of 3201).
City Council Members serve two-year terms, expiring on staggered years. The mayor, District 2 member, and District 4 member expire on even-numbered years. District 1, District 3, and District 5  and At-large council members have terms that expire on odd-numbered years.
Generally city elections are held in May with any run-off election held in June.
In 2024, Early Voting is April 22-30 and Election Day is May 4. We will be voting for Mayor and District 2 and 4 council representatives.
